Longman & Van Grack Attorney Selected as Tax Law Contributor for Baltimore Attorney at Law Magazine
This month, Longman & Van Grack attorney Robb Longman was selected as the Tax Law Contributing Editor of the Greater Baltimore Edition of Attorney at Law Magazine. Robb’s Feature Article this month in the magazine is titled “An Overview of Maryland Sales Tax.” The Firm is thrilled that Robb is being recognized for his many years of working on tax law issues in Maryland, and we are proud to have Robb head our Tax Law Practice.
Robb’s extensive background in tax law provides him with the ability to advise his clients not just on the corporate matters but the tax effects of those matters as well. Robb has successfully represented many business, individuals, and non-profits before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing agencies. Robb represents his clients in tax audits, in the United States Tax Court, the Maryland Tax Court, and Robb regularly assists his clients in resolving outstanding tax debts. Robb, who is Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Tax Section, also works with his client to help them plan for their future. With his extensive knowledge of the tax laws, Robb works with his client to ensure that their estate plans are set up so they can take advantage of estate deductions; protecting their funds while passing the most of it to their families.
Robb will also be speaking at the GrowthCLUB in Rockville, Maryland on March 11, 2016. Fee free to sign up for the event.
Feel free to contact Robb or anyone at Longman & Van Grack’s Tax Practice if you need any legal assistance related to tax controversies or tax planning. Call us at (301) 291-5027 for any questions or to set up an appointment.
