Longman & Van Grack Welcomes Patent Attorney Kenneth Fagin as Of Counsel

The Bethesda and Rockville, Maryland law firm of Longman & Van Grack, LLC is proud to announce a new addition to its business law practice. Seasoned patent attorneyKenneth (Ken) Fagin joins the firm, as Of Counsel to the firm and as head of the Firms Intellectual Property Practice.

Ken Fagin began his patent career in 1992, and prior to attending law school at Washington University in St. Louis, he worked as an engineer at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company. Ken received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Serving as patent counsel for domestic and international clients, Ken is highly experienced with patent prosecution, patent litigation, and client counseling with respect to patent and other IP-related matters. Ken is well known and respected for shepherding his clients applications through the patent prosecution system as efficiently as possible, typically securing allowance without need to resort to any sort of appeals process, and PatentBuddy recently named him to its national list of top patent prosecutors.

During his career, Ken has worked with myriad mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electrical engineering technologies, including automotive components; aircraft engine components; gas turbine generators; wind power generators; large-scale desalination and other water purification processes; gas sensors; photovoltaics; LEDs; medical devices; camera systems; food manufacturing and processing lines; fiber optics; high-intensity surgical lighting systems; and gaming machines.
